The Medi-Globe pneumatic tube system is an integral part of every modern hospital worldwide, developing from what was once the simple transport of blood samples, blood bags or drugs from point A to point B, to state of the art computer controlled systems. These computer controlled pneumatic tube systems provide safe transfer points to both nursing/medical staff and to fully automated laboratory lines and pharmacies, ensuring each processing step is monitored and logged in real time.

Simple steps to use Pneumatic Transport System

Step 1

Select the appropriate carrier

Choose a carrier that is suitable for the size and weight of the material to be transported.

Step 2

Load the material

Carefully place the material into the carrier, ensuring it is secure and will not shift during transport.

Step 3

Insert the carrier

Carefully insert the carrier into the designated tube opening. Make sure it is properly seated to prevent air leaks.

Step 4

Destination code

Select destination code on the touch screen.

Step 5

Monitor progress

Observe the system to ensure the carrier is moving smoothly through the tubes.

Step 6

Retrieve the carrier

Carefully remove the carrier from the tube once it arrives at its destination.
